Hannah's Birthday
Hannah had her 7th birthday on Sunday. She didn't want her birthday to be on a sunday because it would mean "dad would be gone all day." Chad only did his early morning meetings from 6-9am and then came home to be with Hannah. She was very pleased with that. Hannah was very excited for her birthday and has been counting down for weeks. She didn't ask for anything specific and was happy with everything she received. The day turned out good for her. It's hard to believe she's 7.

Hannah wanted an elephant cake. I was very last minute on this cake (finishing it 9:30pm on Saturday) and ended up being a little disappointed. It's definitely not my best cake. I tried a shortcut I had read about for doing the outlining. I did not like it and will not do it again. Oh well. Hannah liked the cake which is what counts. It tasted good anyways.

The cake looks awesome do you have a pattern? I would love to surprise Emma and Rachel with this cake. When Emma saw this she freaked out she love Elephants. I hope Hannah had a great day. Wish we could have been there.
