Oregon Trip: Cookie Making

At the beans we made Halloween sugar cookies for family home evening. It was great fun all around. Hannah and Keaton helped Debbi and I put the dough together ahead of time. They loved helping. Hannah was coated in flour (all over) by the time we were done of course.

This is serious business.

While we were cutting out cookies, Hannah grabbed all of the scraps and put them in a big ball and then promptly stuffed it in her mouth. Can you tell how much dough is in her mouth?!! I about died. You had better close your eyes on this one Grandma Kohler.

Hannah and Keaton were very pleased with their cookies by the time they cut them out, cooked them, and then iced them all by themselves. Of course their most favorite part was eating the cookies. My favorite part too!
