Hannah's violin recital

I started Hannah in violin the first of the year. I didn't realize how challenging it would be. Most things have come pretty easy to Hannah and this did not. She really had to work and it was good for her. She had no music background and so she had a lot to learn with just the music theory stuff aside from learning how to hold the violin correctly and play it. There was just a lot to learn in a short amount of time. It was also in a group setting which means less individual attention. She has learned a lot and come a long way in the last 5 months. We're going to stick with it and see where it goes. I am really proud of her.

Hannah had her violin recital the first of the week. Each student had to play a solo and duet as well as several pieces as a group. Hannah is the youngest of the group. She had to go first with her solo. This is a video clip of her solo. It was scary for her and I think she did great!
