Spencer 2 years old!

This was a fun year with Spencer for his birthday. He was so excited and animated about everything and very fun to watch. I had put all of his presents on the couch along with his "scooter" (as he calls it) that had balloons attached to it the night before. As soon as he saw everything the next morning, he immediately started to jump around with excitement and talk non-stop. He kept saying things like "my balloons, my presents, for me." It was funny. As he started to open each gift he would say "What's in there?" As soon as he could tell what it was he got so excited and would say "It's Thomas, It's Little People, It's cars, My blanket." He was really cute and pictures can't really capture his excitement and expressions. I wished we had a video camera for this one. He is just so darn cute! We had wanted to go to the zoo for his birthday but the weather was not good so we opted out of that. We plan to go soon though.
For as excited as Spencer was, I could not get him to give me a good smile for these pictures. Oh well. He definitely loves all of his presents!
I did get a cheese on this one. My kids love balloons!
I made Spencer a Lion cake. He loves lions and is always talking about lions. I realized I am very out of practice of decorating cakes but I was pleased how this turned out and thought it was cute and very fitting for Spencer at this stage.
He tried really hard to blow the candles out but we had to help a little!
